1985 - THE HVAC GROUP WAS FOUNDED
HVAC Installations was established in 1985 by Jan Wibbelink (Snr) and has grown into the Company it is today through management vision, and commitment to producing end results for our clients that are unparalleled in the industry. The business was run from the offices in Waverley
1992 - relocated to our current offices
The business was run from the offices in Waverley and in February 1992 relocated to its current offices in Gezina.
1996 - Expanding our Offices
In May 1996, a new building was constructed, comprising a 288 m² workshop together with 255 m² of office space.
1998 - Expanding our workshops
In January 1998 the workshop was extended by a further 725m² and the offices by 208m²
2010 - Converted To (Pty) LTD
Jan Willem Wibbelink (Jnr) joined the firm 36 years ago and slowly took over the ranks from his father by acquiring 49% shareholding in 2003. In 2010 he bought the remaining 51% of HVAC Installations from his father and converted it into a (Pty) Ltd.
2011 - Outgrowing Our Factory
August 2011 HVAC bought out two properties directly to the left of it adding 1344m² of storage. The total operating area on which HVAC Installations (Pty) Ltd operates is 6620m² stand, 2357m2 factory and 595m2 of offices.
2018 - EXPANDING OUR TOP MANAGEMENT
In 2018, HVAC Installations expanded its top management team by appointing three new directors to the board, strengthening the company’s leadership and strategic capabilities.
2025 - EXPANDING OUR TOP MANAGEMENT
In 2025, HVAC Installations expanded its top management team and now have 5 directors to the board, strengthening the company’s leadership and strategic capabilities. HVAC also bought a factory in Montegue Gardens in Cape Town, Western Cape Province, adding another 2050m2 of factory and 1025m2 of office space, all on a 2700m2 stand.
